TODAY’S THE DAY!

This is it! We are on our way to China. We have a 13 hour flight to Hong Kong. Good thing each seat has a monitor for movies and music. We’ve never spent so much time watching movies as we have today. We had 3 meals...wasn’t too bad. The only difficult part was sitting for so long but we all got up to walk around and stretch the old legs. We arrived in Hong Kong on Saturday around 4:30 pm with a 2 hour wait before going to Chongqing (“CQ”). China is 15 hours ahead.
We finally arrive in CQ around 8:30 pm. By now we are very tired. We are met by our guide and her name is Windy. Yes...Windy...not Wendy. Did you know that the city of CQ now has 34 million people. I think Canada’s entire population is approximately the same. We check into our hotel. It’s a really nice 5 star hotel.
